Amami Park consists of two conjoined facilities, however their entrance fees are separate. The first facility is called Amami no Sato, where exhibits introduce various aspects of Amami such as nature, history, and culture, while also serving as an activity area for locals. The second facility is the Tanaka Isson Memorial Art Museum which showcases artwork by Isson Tanaka, who is renowned for incorporating many elements of Amami into his work. Amami Park is a must-see for visitors interested in learning more about the Amami Archipelago.
